Question about the hybrid

This is my first hybrid car and I'm looking to care for that system to get it to las as long as possible. My question is what happens if I drain the batteries completely? Is the car drivable or will I need to recharge it? Also, is this a bad thing to do or it's notmal usage?

Draining the hybrid battery completely isn't something you wanna do, most hybrids have safeguards to prevent that, but if it happens, the car might not run properly or could go into a limp mode until the battery gets enough charge, you can't just jump start the hybrid battery like a regular 12V battery, keep the system charged with regular driving and avoid letting it sit unused for long stretches

The simple truth is that the car's computer is the battery's bodyguard and is designed to never let you drain the main hybrid battery completely during normal driving. The gas engine will always fire up to recharge it long before it gets low enough to cause any harm, so it's not something you have to actively worry about.

Yeah, you actually can't drain them the way you might think, I agree with you all, if it feels like the battery's low, the gas engine will kick in to keep things running and recharge it as needed, so yes, it'll still be drivable
